The Poolitique is a production concerning the Quebec politics and conducted by Simon Labonne to obtain the Master’s degree in Communication at the University of Sherbrooke. Over the last 30 years, youth participation rates in provincial elections have decreased. As a result, it was proposed to explore the causes of this decline, to analyze the initiatives that have already been carried out and to submit a new communication approach to solve this problem. The offered production, www.poolitique.com, is an interactive and fun game to educate young people about the media and turn an unattractive subject for young people into an interesting activity. In this way, participants will be able to better understand the communication processes that influence the Quebec politics and hypothetically increase their interest in the traditional electoral process.
